Instead of FOCUSING on RECORDING, MIXING and MASTERING our focus was on CREATION, COMPOSITION and ARRAIGNMENT.

We kept the power common in all DAWS with robust signal routing but we changed the focus of the software by;

​

1) Redesigning a interface that is focused on MUSIC Creation - allowing users to be more creative FASTER than the TRACK VIEW of most DAWS.

2) We gave it MORE POWER by controlling MIDI Notes, Chords and Arpeggios - utilizing a HARMONY SEQUENCER - you can change CHORD progressions on the fly of EVERY Virtual Instrument in the mix at once - Keeping them in Harmony.

3) We PUSHED the Sound Set Files (TruePitch, TrueChords & Magix Soundpools) to beat mapping - Allowing a new melody to be created every time you use them.

4) The MULTI-MIXER engine - allows you to work in sections, 1 to 8 bars. You create a 1 bar virtual instrument definition - DEFIANT duplicates it to the length of the section you are working on automatically,  to be stepped by the HARMONY sequencer.
